The final meeting of the HUMEA project has been organized in Sarajevo on 6th May, and the project is officially coming to the end. The WP leaders presented finished activities by every work-package and future activities for producing deliverables have been adopted.
As a follow-up of the final meeting on 7th of May a workshop for stakeholders in Bosnia and Herzegovina was organized. Around 30 people attended, coming from calibration and test accredited laboratory, industry, accreditation body, pharmaceutical company, Gas Company, Ministry of Defense and project partners.
The workshop was split in two parts. In the first part the Coordinator presented the progress of HUMEA project and the WP leaders presented the results of different activities. During the second part of the workshop following topics were covered:
- Why Humidity Matters, presented by Dubhaltach MacLochlainn
- basic definitions in humidity,
- traceability in hygrometry and air temperature,
- measurement Instruments,
- humidity generation methods,
- calibration procedures
Colleagues from University of Ljubljana, UL-LMK, Slovenia prof. dr. Jovan Bojkovski and prof. dr. Domen Hudoklin held two detailed presentations for Basic definitions in Humidity, Uncertainties Associated with Humidity Calibration and Types of relative humidity and dew point sensors.
Two laboratories accredited for humidity measurements in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Laboratory of temperature and humidity of IMBiH shortly presented their work and accredited methods.
At the end of the workshop the participants had a tour at the IMBiH temperature and humidity laboratory.
